These washers are made from a single piece of PTFE to create a perfect insulator for Apimaye hives.
Being chemically inert and fairly high-temperature resistant, we believe these should last many seasons before needing replacement.
If they come loose, simply apply a little propolis to the stem of the unit when hot; they will stay firmly in place.
